Stephen Prassas founded Prassas Landscape Studio LLC in 2006 as a practice dedicated to the thoughtful design of landscapes through the integration of sustainability and innovation.  Every project’s goal is to create unique spaces by merging a site’s context and architecture with the goals of the client.  A high level of quality is achieved through the development of strong personal relationships with the client and allied professionals.

Upon completion of his Bachelor degree of Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois, Stephen began his career as a landscape architect at a residential design/build firm in Lake Bluff before broadening his skills at a national planning firm.  His seven-year tenure at Peter Lindsay Schaudt Landscape Architecture, Inc. included the completion of a vast range of projects from large university campuses to public parks including the redevelopment of the 98 acre park surrounding Soldier Field, North Burnham Park.  Stephen’s projects have been featured on HGTV, in local and national garden magazines and have won numerous accolades and awards.  Stephen lives in the city with his wife and two children.
